What you will learn

Mentoring is one of the oldest and most effective ways to help people grow, and fewer than half of employees have access to it. This elective micro module compares coaching and mentoring, summarizes what research says about the benefits, describes the qualities of effective mentors and mentees, and offers practical responses to common challenges and difficult questions, including confidentiality and matches that do not work. The worksheet guides you to a modest, realistic mentoring plan.
