What you will learn
The person a team member reports to has a strong influence on how engaged and capable that team member becomes. This micro module explains what coaching is and when it is the right response, teaches the four stages of the GROW model with an original worked example, shows how open, closed and why questions each serve a purpose, and sets out the SMARTER criteria for goals that are followed through. The worksheet becomes a ready plan for a first coaching conversation.
A tool you can use this week
The My Coaching Plan worksheet, which you download and complete for a real situation of your own.
