What you will learn
Employees decide whether to trust their organization largely on the basis of what they see from their immediate leader. This elective micro module defines organizational trust and its five components, summarizes current research on how high-performing teams build trust and how organizations commonly lose it, examines the effect of employee monitoring on trust, and offers a practical set of measures. It ends with a trust audit of your own team and a plan for one improvement.
A tool you can use this week
The My Team Trust Audit worksheet, which you download and complete for a real situation of your own.
