What you will learn
Explain how aligning training with organizational goals protects budgets, learners' time and the practitioner's credibility.
A tool you can use this week
The Line of Sight Map and Five Alignment Checks. The Line of Sight Map traces a training proposal through five links: evidence, gap type, organizational goal, measures and intervention. The Five Alignment Checks then test whether the proposal targets the real gap, serves a goal, has a baseline, considered a non-training option and defines success on the job. The worksheet helps you apply it to a real situation this week.
